Spreading spatula
Spreading spatulas are made of special plastic and have two working ends, which differ in width: an end having full width is designed for smearing at full slide width, the other end having cut edges to make smears 4 mm narrower. Rounded spatula surfaces have special microfibers which enable to make monolayer smears ideal for microscopy.
Cytology fixative aerosol
The cytology fixative is designed for quick fixation and transportation of cytology specimens (smears) on slides.
The spatula is completely safe because, unlike ground glass, it cannot do harm to medical staff’s skin and become a cause of infection in a wound.
Advantages: prevention of cell desiccation and deformation, cell morphology during storage and transportation remains unchanged, good staining prevents from unwanted artefacts. Fixative components provide effective sample preservation for routine staining, immune histochemical tests, FISH (fluorescent in situ hybridization) staining, in situ PCR.
Autoclave bags
Our autoclave bags are manufactured with the use of PP film having the width of 40 microns and have temperature resistance up to +134 0C. The bags are equipped with one sterilization indicator changing color after autoclaving. Indicator is put onto a bag by flexographic printing and it is a small area of thermosensitive paint, which becomes gray when sterilization is complete.
Autoclave bags are used for the following purposes:
- Disposal of waste having biological contamination by autoclaving at +134 °С for 40 minutes;
- Inactivation of contaminated materials by autoclaving at +121 °С;
- Sterilization of clean tools at +121 °С.
